Supporting Governance in Disciplined Agile Delivery Using Non-Invasive Measurement and Process Mining
MetadataShow full item record
To implement Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) within the enterprise, governance must be addressed. One potential aspect of governance is the auditing of processes, e.g., to verify which steps an artifact goes through before it is delivered, who is involved, how much time passes, etc. It is difficult to track the lifecycle of an artifact without having logging mechanisms in place. This article describes how non- invasive measurement and process mining can be used to support process auditing within the DAD framework. We provide an example of process auditing within a DAD lifecycle. We discuss how and which data have to be collected, how the data have to be elaborated, and which results can be expected. Practitioners can use these examples to implement auditing based on non-invasive measurement and process mining within their context.
