MetadataShow full item record
Against the background of a fundamentally changing work environment, companies’ requirements regarding employees and the mechanisms of collaboration will substantially change: employees must become increasingly flexible and entrepreneurial. This paper gives a closer look at these new requirements and will highlight some possible future solution ideas. It first reviews the characteristics that influence the decisions to undertake entrepreneurship. Starting from these general notions, the paper reviews two empirical studies carried out in production and service industry, identifying the central success factors that need to be addressed in order to stimulate employee intrapreneurship.
