Abstract
This Working Document lays the foundation for case studies fieldwork conducted in SERIGO WP3.
The working document is structured as follows. Section 2 outlines SERIGO WP3's epistemological and theoretical approaches, clarifying the research framework and the objectives pursued through the implementation of the SERIGO case studies. Section 3 presents the results of the case study (CS) refinement process, which was conducted according to relevance and potential for theory development. Section 4 outlines the initial stakeholder mapping, based on a preliminary list of stakeholders identified for each case study. Section 5 outlines the timeline and stages for the SERIGO case studies, and introduces a note on contingencies, humility, and care in research practice, emphasizing the need for flexibility and reflexivity in the research process.
