Abstract
The Autonomy Dashboard South Tyrol provides a compact overview of the most important and up-to-date statistics on South Tyrol's autonomy and minority protection, demonstrating the developments of the past years. Statistical institutes, research institutions and the provincial administration regularly publish figures that are significant from a scientific and socio-political point of view. The Autonomy Dashboard brings together this data from different platforms in one place, covering four main areas: demography, languages and language groups, politics and administration, economy and finance. The relevance of some indicators derives directly from their importance as defined in the Autonomy Statute. These include, for example, the results of the language group censuses or the figures for South Tyrol's tax revenue. However, in order to illustrate complex social developments, a variety of different indicators are included. The dashboard aims to encourage users to form their own opinions, identify trends and make comparisons.
