Abstract
This report summarizes the interviews conducted in the framework of the TRANSNATURE project in the Julian Alps area (Italy-Slovenia) between April and November 2024. Twenty-two interviews were conducted online, based on a common questionnaire aiming to shed light on the concrete mechanisms allowing for transboundary cooperation in the field of biodiversity protection and participation in the case studies, as well as the main enablers of and challenges to transboundary biodiversity protection. The structure of the report follows the contents of the interview questionnaire. Interviews are anonymized but categories of stakeholders are identified to contextualize responses.
