Abstract
This report summarizes the proceedings of the workshop Integrating Climate Justice and Intersectionality in Research, held on October 16, 2024, at Eurac Research. Organized within the ASCEND project, the workshop aimed to explore how climate justice, gender, and intersectionality are addressed in research projects at Eurac Research. It provided a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the identification of synergies between different research initiatives.
The workshop featured three main discussion areas: conceptual approaches to climate justice and intersectionality, good practices for integrating these perspectives in research, and strategies for stakeholder engagement.
The discussions highlighted challenges and opportunities in applying intersectional climate justice frameworks, emphasizing the need for methodological awareness, inclusive participation strategies, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The outcomes contribute to advancing climate justice research and fostering more inclusive research practices across disciplines.
