Thematic focal points are:
- Definition, delimitation and classification of the concept of diversity and related approaches to action.
- History and approaches to action of the women's movement, feminism in the 21st century
- Introduction to contemporary gender relations, the concept of "Doing Gender" and masculinity research
- Gender pay gap and care work as topics of the health system, socio-political framework conditions
- Establishing links between diversity- and gender-related issues with the topic of health and prevention.
The aims of the course are to understand diversity as a socio-political field of action, to explain processes of inclusion and exclusion in contemporary society as well as the resulting political and social processes of change and to be able to establish links to the topic of health and prevention.
