Abstract
This article presents a tool, which supports the „green-field“ and the „brown-field“ planning of highly productive factories: the „production map“. It provides orientation for production planners regarding the structuring and coordination of complex planning projects and helps to identify and to realise productivity potentials in a very systematic way. An example shows the successful application of the method in practice.
