Abstract
In this paper we reformulate the traditional problem of the object of the Science of Law in order to include the general research in law, and we defend that under the approach we call “manager’s point of view” the ontological and epistemological questions are of little use or relevance; they do not help to advance the research in law. We examine the situation of the research in law in Brazil and in the World, highlighting cutting-edge projects. Finally, we also show some empirical results we make about the research in law in Brazil.
