Abstract
This twenty-second report on the floristic notes of Piedmont discusses notes 1355 - 1404. The presence of a native
taxon new to the flora of Piedmont, Saxifraga crustata, is reported. Additionally, new alien species for the regional flora are
recorded, including two naturalized species (Allium triquetrum, Lepidium heterophyllum) and two casual species (Apium
graveolens, Gaillardia ×grandiflora). The casual occurrence and subsequent disappearance of Cotoneaster bullatus are also documented,
along with the historical disappearance of the casual alien species Dactyloctenium aegyptium, Linaria triphylla,
Moorochloa eruciformis, and Themeda triandra. A change in status is proposed at the regional level, from casual to naturalized,
for Ficus carica, Galium murale, and Sporobolus indicus. Finally, new findings or confirmations of localities for rare or protected
species are reported, together with new records for specific geographic sectors of Piedmont.
