The identity of Enrico (born Henry) Groves is discussed and the following four E.Groves’ names are lectotypified: Anthemis hydruntina (Asteraceae), Centaurea deusta var. nobilis (Asteraceae), Centaurea deusta var. tenacissima (Asteraceae) and Statice cancellata var. japygica (Plumbaginaceae).
