Abstract

The Human Interface Technology Laboratory New Zealand (HIT Lab NZ) is engaged in exploring innovation in interface design. The HIT Lab NZ has a three-fold mission: teaching, research, and commercialization. One of the unique aspects of the HIT Lab NZ is that it exists as a bridge between academia and industry. The Lab is also collaborating with traditional artists and book illustrators to develop a range of tools that can be used by non-programmers to build augmented reality books.
