Abstract
The subject of education in adulthood has its roots in the history and in particular the literacy process of individual countries and their different regional areas. The diversity of stories territorially also influences the ongoing processes we come across in a globalized and technological scenario, with the challenges of the relationship between knowledge and democracy in the context of the information society, the knowledge economy and the learning society. The discussion and pedagogical discourse on this subject highlight current trends in critical dialogue.
Il tema dell’educazione in età adulta affonda le sue radici nella storia ed in particolare nel processo di alfabetizzazione di ogni Paese e delle sue diverse aree regionali. La diversità delle storie territoriali influenza anche i processi in corso che si confrontano, in uno scenario internazionale globalizzato e tecnologico, con le sfide del rapporto tra saperi e democrazia nel contesto della società dell’informazione, dell’economia della conoscenza e della società dell’apprendimento. La discussione ed il discorso pedagogico in materia evidenziano orientamenti in dialogo critico.
