Abstract
Nowadays, quantitative information and its processing represents one of the most challenging research topic. Our society invests massively in the collection and processing of data of all different kinds (internet portal, financial data, microarrays analysis, etc.). In order to deal with such a huge flow of information, several formal models need to be investigated and developed.
Classical models often involve a statistical approach, based on special additive measures, namely probabilities (which, in the finite case, can be seen as weights of non-interacting criteria).
