Abstract
The five articles presented in this section offer a sample of the large array of consumer behaviour-related research presented at the second annual Consumer Behavior in Tourism Symposium (CBTS2009). The papers deal with: the effects of perceived service provider sincerity on consumer's emotional state and satisfaction; consumer perception of destination competitiveness and its role in tourism decision-making; pre- and post-trip factors influencing visitor experience at a battlefield tourism event; wine tourism experience and consumer behaviour; and host-guest relationship in second-home tourism.
