Abstract

The authors regret that an error appears in the abstract of the published article. In the list of the five tested honey bee genotypes, the first subspecies is incorrectly written as “Apis mellifera”. The correct name is “Apis mellifera mellifera”, as originally stated in the submitted version. The corrected sentence should read as follows: “…across five European honey bee genotypes: Apis mellifera mellifera, A. m. carnica, A. m. ligustica, Buckfast, and a local population from JKI, Braunschweig.” The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
