Abstract
In the "Smart Factory", cyber-physical systems (CPS) must be synchronized with each other and with the outside world in order to exchange information and trigger actions. This paper presents a model for the design of an Industrial Internet System (IIS) and describes its implementation in the laboratory environment. The aim of the industrial Internet is to homogenize and integrate the communication systems of used elements such as machines or robots. In addition, a central backbone network is created to collect all valuable information for further analysis of large amounts of data.
