Abstract
Lois Craffonara is one of the most prominent contemporary Ladin linguists. In this Festschrift marking his 85th birthday, 20 authors dedicate their contributions to him with direct or indirect references to his research and interests in Ladin, the Ladin people and Ladinia. In addition to studies in the fields of linguistics and sociolinguistics, the publication also includes essays on history and geography, cultural and art history, and archaeology.
