Abstract

Lesson 11 of 16 of the e-Course "The Authonomy of South Tyrol" The co-existence of the three language groups in South Tyrol is regulated by a complex legal system. One of its central principles is ethnic proportionality including ethnic quotas in public service employment and public funding, as well as in the province’s executive organs.
