Abstract
This one-day-workshop held in conjunction with the FLAI’93 conference is intended to enhance the personal and professional development of Ph.D.-level students who are working in the field of fuzzy-based systems. It will enable them to meet, to dicuss their research, and to develop their working skills. It also serves as an introduction to the European Fuzzy-Mail-List established by Wolfgang Slany. This network enables participants to exchange information, give help and support, and to give wider access to resources and methods. Although the network is set up and based in Europe, it is connected to the fuzzy-related list of the North American Fuzzy Information Processing Society, and will be connected to other fuzzy related electronic media in the future.
