Abstract
The aim of this work is to create a conceptual framework to drive Ceramic industry in Thailand become Industry 4.0. Mixture Design which is a special type of Design of Experiment (DOE) and optimization technique combined with the desirability function theory are adopted in this work. Moreover, the visual basic application and neural network which is a self-learning system are also introduced and integrated in this framework as well. There are five lots of raw materials which have a different level of the moisture and the experiments are performed five sets to generate five mathematical models. The covariance is used for analyzing the results that vary with the properties of the raw materials. After that, database of an optimal condition of each set of experiment is created to formulate a proper condition to produce a good quality of compound clay. There is a description of the framework in this paper.
