Abstract

Parkinson's disease

π-calculus

Stochastic Simulation

This work proposes two gene-based models of Parkinson's disease and a model of this disease caused by environmental stress. The simulation results of these models suggest also a further hypothetical model that relates the onset of the disease to an insufficient quantity of chaper-ones.
