Abstract
The aim of the research is to understand how teachers can approach reading and building graphs in class to support successful learning; we want to promote the analysis and reading of graphs as a way to understand the world. To do this, we have highlighted main difficulties that students find when they have to read and understand a graph or build it from evidence provided by national standardized test results. In this paper, we give examples of tasks designed leaning on the results of our research that we analyse.
