Abstract
The focus of sustainability research and praxis is constantly expanding up the supply chain (SC) and recently reached mineral resources. Existing research on mineral SCs is fragmented in relatively separated silos. This Delphi study aims at comprehensively shedding light on sustainability in mineral SCs by addressing all actors from mine to recycling and issues across all dimensions of sustainability. It builds a list of 17 major issues, their contribution to SSCM aims, their origin in the SC and their realizability to delineate the complexity of the field and suggest promising paths to a more sustainable supply of mineral resources.
