Abstract
In the framework of the H2020 project TRUST PV, steps towards an automatized, data-driven, decision support for the PV O&M sector have been investigated. Thereby, two important working areas are covered, the statistical as well as the economical evaluation of PV O&M failure tickets. A statistical evaluation is only possible if a common dictionary for ticket categorization is applied. Therefore, the TRUST-PV Risk matrix, a technical risk matrix covering all possible events within the operational phase of a conventional PV plant, has been created. Using the nomenclature of this matrix, we statistically evaluated more than 35,000 O&M tickets of over 100 PV. It has been shown that inverter and monitoring related tickets make more than 75% of all recorded tickets and there seems to be a bias towards automatically generated tickets and an underrepresentation of tickets related to components where a manual insertion is required. In the second part of this work, a concept to calculate the economic impact of O&M tickets has been developed based on information of individual tickets, PV system specific information as well as PV monitoring data.
