Abstract

Trans-form: Exploring Design, Art and Social Practices for political and eco-social Transitions Museum communication Inclusion Design for cultural hegritage
This essay presents Trace the Sound, an inclusive guide project for sighted, visually impaired and blind visitors at the Haus Am Horn, a model house built for the first exhibition of the school Staatliches Bauhaus in Weimar in 1923, UNESCO heritage site since 1996 and exhibition venue since 1999. The prototype realized as part of the project and presented here proposes a haptic and auditory experience of the furniture and the architecture so that they can be relived through a multisensory exploration, a fundamental theme in the Bauhaus pedagogy.
