Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present simulation activities carried out for the performance assessment of a solar-assisted trigeneration system within the framework of EU FP7 BRICKER project. The system comprises a parabolic trough collectors field, an organic Rankine cycle unit and adsorption chiller and it provides heating, cooling and electricity to an hospital building in Aydin (Turkey). TRNSYS system simulations are used as a basic for the assessment of energetic performance and economic feasibility of the trigeneration system.
