Abstract
Marcus will share his experiences of using a creative arts research method, zine-making, with young national minorities in borderland areas as part of the B-Shapes project. Zine-making is a participatory and collaborative research tool which can be effective in getting young people to think about complex issues of identity and share personal reflections on border politics. Marcus will discuss some initial findings from the B-Shapes zine-making workshops and discuss the potential value of creative arts research approach.
