Abstract
In this workshop, students can explore the role of languages in an increasingly international society. What is a global language? How are languages affected by global change, and vice versa? Students discover more about these questions through role-play in Tifinagh, dissecting international brand names, discovering the global histories of local words and learning scientific theories about global languages.
