Abstract
This Section discusses different facets, dynamics, and recent patterns of governance of international migration and migrants’ inclusion. We seek panels and papers for this Section which provide a comparative overview of migration policies, politics and outcomes, by focusing on (a) institutional responses to migration from a multi-level and transnational perspective; (b) the complex network of social and political actors influencing migration management; and (c) the effects of policies on migrants’ lives and interactions. We also seek panels and papers following diverse methodological approaches, single case studies as well as comparative work, and a broad territorial perspective, including also contributions on and from the Global South.
