Abstract
The first part of this workshop includes a short presentation of the recent Gender Report written by 40 authors, the majority of whom are members of the research across-areas group “Gender Dynamics” at Eurac Research, including the process and the why we pursued such a project. Starting from the Gender Report’s chapter on work, Alexandra will share how genderbased stereotypes affect gender equality in the work domain and what horizontal and vertical segregation mean and imply through an interactive Q&A session. The second part of the workshop is dedicated to a reflection on the need of addressing the distorted belief of the “zero-sum thinking” (if women win, men loose) and how involving men/male colleagues in building up a gender harmony.
