Abstract
In times of multi-layered crises, uncertainty and an increasing speed of deep transformation, future-readiness shifts from an option to an ever-present necessity. Based on the UN and UNESCO grand strategies for the decade and their global outlook on the world in 2030, the approach of Futures Literacy (FL) is presented. Futures Literacy, as developed by UNESCO, aims at developing futures-readiness as a capacity of individuals and collectives in the broadest possible way to enhance resilience and strengthen
competence, optimism and solidarity.
