Abstract
The integration of IoT and sensor technologies with web technologies enables the creation of innovative solutions for different fields of application. The same technologies can be used for monitoring natural resources, production processes and environments, and thanks to the miniaturization of sensor systems they can be used to monitor human parameters. Through the integration of different technologies it is possible to keep an increasing number of ecosystems under control and to understand the interaction that the man has with the ecosystems as well.
