Abstract
The presentation titled "Am Scheideweg: Deutschlands Bundestagswahl und was auf dem Spiel steht" discusses the imminent Bundestag election in Germany, which has been brought forward from the originally planned autumn 2025 due to the collapse of the "Ampel-Koalition" (traffic light coalition). This early election introduces uncertainty and critical political decisions, with a focus on key issues such as migration, climate change, economic stability, and digitalization. The background of the election, including the causes of the coalition crisis and the reform of the electoral system, is explored. Additionally, the strategies and positions of the major political parties, along with the emerging challenges in the election campaign, are outlined.
