Abstract
The presentation "AI and Governance: Impact on Democratic Values and Human Rights at Local and Regional Levels" examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into local and regional governance frameworks, focusing on the issue of balancing opportunities and challenges of technological advancement while preserving human rights and democratic values. In light of that, the presentation will also consider AI's potential to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and promote ethical governance within public services, and subsequently provide a platform for discussions on integrating AI technologies in governance.
