Abstract
The return of the wolf in South Tyrol has exposed a situation where livestock protection measures are largely unknown and rejected. Engaging dialogue with stakeholders in the field can help mitigate teh conflict with wolves and bring benefits to both wildlife conservation and pastoralism.
