Abstract
Like most Flemish municipalities, Nijlen has a large number of dispersed buildings. Because of this dispersion, public transport is virtually nonexistent in many places. This is also the case in Bevel, a submunicipality of Nijlen. As a result, many families in communities like Bevel struggle with transport poverty. With the Kempenlab Caring Mobility, we engaged in dialogue with entrepreneurs in Nijlen and jointly explored the role they can play in addressing these shortages. To guide this dialogue, we developed a Mobility Design Game and translated it into personas, a Business Canvas, and an Activity System tailored to Bevel.
