Abstract
The third subchapter considers how model outputs can be integrated into the risk analysis in order to provide a risk-based evaluation for hazard mitigation. Here, a number of different approaches are available, often adopting different perspectives, methodologies, aims and final users. After a general overview on the available studies, the different activities carried out in the GR4A project to include model outputs for quantitative and/or qualitative risk are presented. Also, in this case, the different applications are described including their required input data, assumptions, outputs, level of detail, aims/application and weaknesses.
