Abstract
A growing body of scientific literature highlights the negative consequences of occupational insecurity in several domains of life. The current research project focuses on the social context of Italy, examining the relationship between precarious work and health.
In particular, the study aims to improve understanding of the phenomenon by investigating the impact on perceived health by exploring differences between geographical areas and the role of the economic situation of the respondents. This study focuses on the Italian adult population. It employs a longitudinal panel approach, based on a sample of women and men aged 16-64 from the Italian Survey on Income and Living Conditions from European Union Statistics (2012-2015).
