Abstract
During 2019 a group of women and men has started thinking about an egalitarian society in the here-and-now, in the hart of western society of twenty-first century. This idea is the beginning of CRETA project composed by a series of conferences and workshops, supported by a participatory action research. This contribution is the results presentation of the study with a theoretical introduction accounting the inspiration and guiding role of Genevieve Vaughan, Heide Goetner Abendroth, Luciana Percovich, Peggy Reeve Sanday, followed by the explanation of the project roadmap and a description of action research data analysis. What emerges is the potentiality of gift economy and matriarchal studies to lead social innovation, answering to deep needs of egalitarian community building, alternative patterns to capitalism and sacredness in today society.
