Abstract
In this essay I describe and analyse with semiological (the visual grammar), historical and technical methods the way and manners, the artist K-M. Holzhäuser uses the artificial light as a medium of creating pictures and the self- created tools in their characteristics as means of artificial expression. The second aspect is a contextualisation of this artist and his unique types of pictures into media- theory of the second half of the 20th century.
