Abstract
After the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the EduSpace Children’sLiteratureLab organised a book exhibition Narrating peace in children’s literature in times of war at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (unibz) as part of the series Open dialogues – dialogues for peace. We now shift focus from the context of war to the narration of peace. Following an overview of picturebook research, we analyse selected German, Italian and Ladin language picturebooks before concluding with a didactic outlook.
