Abstract
The 'Iceman Photoscan' project represents a significant scientific contribution to the study and dissemination of knowledge on the oldest wet and natural mummy in the world. This book describes in detail the single steps, from the project design to the implementation, which led to the setting up of a dedicated website. This website allows an in-depth virtual contact with the mummy without compromising its sensitive preservation conditions – an opportunity for the wider public to discover and study a cultural heritage, unique to the world.
