Abstract

MIDAS turns 25 next year. So it’s time to open the archives and take a look back. One name comes up frequently: Ned Thomas. In this first part of the interview, he discusses the development of European minority policy over the past decades, the rise of networks and organizations in this field, and why the project to launch a daily newspaper in Cymraeg (Welsh) failed at the last minute.
